๐Ÿ“– Container Load Guide

How many cartons really fit a 40HQ?

The tool tries all six carton orientations with integer packing and caps the result by payload: a 40HQ (12.03ร—2.35ร—2.69 m) fits ~720 cartons of 60ร—40ร—35 cm at ~66% volume utilization โ€” typical. Above 80% is exceptional packing; heavy cargo hits the weight ceiling first.

Real loading always falls short of theory: pallets, carton crush and human gaps eat space. Budget 5โ€“10% slack when booking from the theoretical number.

โ“ FAQ

20GP or 40GP?

Dense cargo favors the 20GP (heavier payload); volumetric cargo takes 40HQ/45HQ. The "by space / by weight" numbers tell you which limit binds.

Why single-orientation packing?

Mixed orientations gain 5โ€“8% but are error-prone for warehouse crews; we output a conservative, executable plan.
