Payoneer: The Ultimate Financial Hub

The market leader in cross-border e-commerce payouts. Whether you sell on Amazon, run a Shopify store, or freelance, Payoneer provides compliant, low-fee global multi-currency receiving accounts.

Core Advantages & Use Cases

  • The Standard for Platform Payouts: Perfectly supports over 150+ marketplaces and freelance platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Upwork, Fiverr, etc.), frictionlessly binding as the payout bank account.
  • Local Virtual Accounts: Get local bank details for USD, EUR, GBP, JPY upon registration. Platforms or buyers sending money to these accounts enjoy local transfer speeds and zero wire fees.
  • Free In-Network Transfers: Ideal for B2B. If you need to pay overseas suppliers or logistics partners who also use Payoneer, the transfer is instant and costs 0 fees.
  • Commercial Mastercard: Order a virtual or physical Mastercard to spend your USD balance directly on Facebook/Google Ads or hosting, avoiding currency conversion losses.
Fee Breakdown

What is the real cost of withdrawing?

Payoneer's standard withdrawal fee to your local bank account is 1.2%.

Exchange Rate: The conversion rate uses the real mid-market rate on the day of the transfer. This means you only pay the transparent 1.2% fee and don't suffer from hidden high exchange rate markups (unlike PayPal).

VIP Discounts: If your monthly receiving volume exceeds $100,000, you can negotiate with an account manager to lower this fee to 0.3%~0.5%.

Registration & Setup Guide

1

Select Account Type

Takes 5 minutes to complete the form

Payoneer supports Individual and Company accounts. For Amazon sellers, a Company account is recommended to match your business entity. For DTC store owners or freelancers, an Individual account is sufficient and allows withdrawal directly to your personal bank account.
2

Complete KYC Verification

Provide clear ID photos and proof of address

Enter the "Verification Center" to upload your Passport or National ID. You may also be asked for a utility bill or bank statement as proof of address. This is a strict anti-money laundering (AML) requirement.
3

Get Global Payment Service (GPS) Details

Apply for local receiving accounts in the dashboard

Navigate to "Receive" -> "Global Payment Service" to view your allocated virtual bank details (e.g., First Century Bank). Enter this Routing and Account Number into your Amazon or Stripe payout settings.

๐Ÿšจ Payoneer Pitfalls to Avoid

While Payoneer is highly stable, the following actions will result in rejected funds or account reviews.

โŒ Do NOT Receive Personal Transfers

Payoneer GPS accounts are strictly for business/platform funds. If you ask a friend to wire money from their personal bank account to your Payoneer account, it will be 100% rejected, returned, and trigger an AML review.

โš ๏ธ Annual Inactivity Fee ($29.95)

If your account does not receive or send a total of $2,000 USD in transactions over the past 12 months, you will be charged a $29.95 annual fee. Don't activate the account until you are ready to use it.

โœ… Compliant Repatriation

Withdrawing funds to your local bank account via Payoneer uses compliant cross-border payment channels. For sellers in countries with strict capital controls (like China), this does not consume your personal foreign exchange quota.

โœ… Multi-Store Anti-Association

Payoneer allows you to open multiple virtual Receiving Accounts. You can assign different accounts to different Amazon marketplaces or Shopify stores to completely isolate cash flow and prevent account association.

Works Best with Stripe

DTC sellers usually bind their Payoneer US virtual account to their Stripe dashboard. The flow: Buyer's Credit Card -> Stripe -> Payoneer -> Your Local Bank.
